I’m looking forward to helping more people learn to crochet this month, at 2 great new venues!
Crochet Foundations – starting right at the beginning!
- Friday 14th October, 10am – 12pm, Starbucks on Friargate, Preston
- Monday 17th October, 10am – 12pm, Mystery Tea House, Cannon Street, Preston
Crochet Basics – simple shaping, patterns and colour techniques
- Friday 21st October, 10am – 12pm, Starbucks on Friargate, Preston
The Crochet Foundations class costs £20 which includes a Crochet Basics Kit for you to keep, containing all the materials you need to begin, my own handouts and simple patterns.
After listening to student feedback and chatting to Hobbycraft visitors, I’ve improved the structure of the classes. This means that whatever level you are at, there will be a group to suit you and your own needs. Whether you have never picked up a hook before but would like to start, need a refresher, want to use simple shaping for granny squares and projects, or you are ready to pick up a new technique like hairpin lace, there’s a class for you. If you are worried about learning to crochet, don’t be! The groups are very small and friendly, just 3-4 people, there’s plenty of time for questions, and I’m patient!
Classes are 2 hours long, at times to suit parents making school runs, in easy-to-reach, relaxing venues where you can enjoy a tea or coffee and something to nibble. There’s no commitment to a course, and no shopping list – just ring me to book and turn up to have a go!
I hope to see you soon – contact me for more details or to book your place.
