Today was our third Next Steps Knitting class at Intact, and we have just one more left. It’s a lovely group and everyone is making progress, learning about shaping and colour, so I’m expecting great things next week (no pressure).
Most of the owls made it in today…
…but there are still a couple who seem a bit photo-shy!
We’re moving on to shaping now, and following basic patterns, so I designed this little chick to sit on an egg. Mine actually sat on a kiwi, she’s a work in progress. We hope to make a few of these and add them to the craft stall to raise money for Intact.
After the Plug-In Lancs a few weeks ago, I’m attempting to keep up with the 365 photos challenge by posting on Flickr or Twitter using #photo365, but I’m not stressing about it too much. I would rather miss the challenge but enjoy taking the photos and learning more about photography.
There are places available for the other Spring courses in February and March, please let me know if you want to come along, so I can bring your goodies 🙂 If I don’t have the course you want listed, let me know, I do teach other crafts and we can set something up just for you.
